Graduate Student
As a PhD student at the University of Pisa, under the supervision of Dr. Ugo Faraguna, I focused my research interests on how sleep and circadian rhythms affect everyday life of human beings, as well as how their disturbances might contribute to the pathogenesis of diverse clinical conditions. The mystery of our fading awareness during sleep brought me to Dr. Edlow’s NICC Lab, where I am acquiring new expertise on how to assess consciousness by means of electrophysiologic tools, in particular TMS/EEG. Hopefully my work will contribute to both understanding the neural basis of consciousness and improving the clinical management of DoC patients. In my free time, I enjoy creating Spotify playlists and making my own music.
